The 7.5-Joule page’s more detailed 25+ wording sits within its broader 20–30-Joule advertising. The 13-Joule page makes a lower 20+ headline despite its higher starting-version label. These source statements do not establish that one original marker version is intrinsically better, or that either kit yields the same result under all conditions.
What the insert and pin do
Z-RAM describes the 7.5-Joule V2 insert as self-centering and pairs it with an upgraded pin. Both offers describe valve geometry intended to support gas flow and CO₂ expansion. The insert and pin are internal components affecting gas delivery; neither offer includes a complete firing bolt or an external chamber extension.
At the system level, a valve controls the release of gas. Flow and timing interact with the gas supply, chamber, barrel and projectile. The two listings use similar general gas-flow language, but that does not establish that their version-specific components are technically identical or interchangeable.
The stainless-steel construction is common to both descriptions. Z-RAM associates it with durability and smoother movement; the 7.5-Joule offer additionally describes corrosion resistance. These are the named material benefits alongside the energy advertising.
Higher output and gas use are connected
The 13-Joule description expressly links more gas per shot with fewer shots per capsule. That is a useful purchase consideration beyond the peak-energy number: increased output can consume the available CO₂ more quickly. The source supplies no exact comparative shot count for these two kits.
Both pages also claim a reduced cool-down effect. CO₂ remains temperature-sensitive, which is why the listed output figures retain temperature conditions.
