The ASA-to-chamber adapter and the previous FSC test
Welcome to the Z-RAM YouTube channel. In today's video, Z-RAM will show you the ASA-to-chamber adapter and how to install it.
In the last video, Z-RAM tested the First Strike FSC with the Z-Extension and got an incredible 70 J, with this short setup, thanks to the Z-Extension and the 20 g magazine. All of that used Z-RAM's super-sharp Z.68s projectiles. Today, though, the subject is the ASA-to-chamber adapter, and Z-RAM will show you how the whole thing is installed. Let's get started.

Opening the FSC and removing the Z-Extension
The very first thing is to remove the barrel cover and magazine. Then the barrel can be pulled out here and the spring taken out. Next, undo these screws; Z-RAM has already removed them. These are the ones here and the ones on the sides. Then it can be opened like this. Remove this screw here, and then this part can be taken off. Here is the stopper at the back. The Z-Extension can then be pulled out with the chamber here. This is what it looks like.
This is Z-RAM's new steel bolt, made of stainless steel, with a stainless steel screw and the stainless steel PowerPin. This is Z-RAM's stainless steel chamber, already introduced in previous videos.
This is the Z-Extension, and this is the adapter onto which either the Z-Extension or the ASA-to-chamber adapter can be screwed. This adapter plate here is black, but it is delivered in silver.
Fitting the adapter and reassembling the setup
It can be left on, and Z-RAM's ASA-to-chamber adapter can then be installed, but put the stopper on it first. This can now be tightened well; this is tightened here. Z-RAM recommends adding a little threadlocker here too. Now the stopper can be pulled here. It has two flat surfaces here, so it can be tightened a little with a pair of pliers. Then it looks like this. This is bombproof.
Now put the spring back in here, then fit the 16-inch barrel, Z-RAM's barrel cover and the magazine. Of course, the capsule can be removed; it is no longer needed. This fits in here. It would be best to screw the bottle on here beforehand, so it can be tightened better, and then put it in. But it will work this way too.
Basically, everything is assembled. Of course, parts can now be mounted here, for example a scope and a handle underneath. Z-RAM will do that quickly, then test the whole thing on the chronograph. The handle has now been mounted here.
Loading Z.68s projectiles and fitting the cover
Now load the Z.68s projectiles, first greasing them a little. Z-RAM has now loaded eight here. With the Z-Magazine, remove this rod here. This is done only with Z.68s projectiles; with the normal Z68 V2 projectiles, the rod does not need to be removed. Then this has to be clicked into place, and the projectiles can now be loaded. Then it can be released. The cover can then be mounted underneath, and it looks like this.
Of course, a rail could now be stuck on here or screwed on, and then the whole thing assembled here. This no longer fits here, but, as mentioned, it can simply be stuck on there and then used, or two small holes can be drilled and it can be screwed on.
Bottle, regulator and steel components
Z-RAM will now fill the bottle. This is a 200 bar bottle with a 1,100 PSI regulator. That 1,100 PSI now goes directly into the chamber. Z-RAM definitely recommends using the steel chamber rather than the standard chamber. The new stainless steel bolt with the stainless steel screw should also be used because the whole thing now has a lot more power than originally intended. Then you are simply on the safe side so that nothing breaks or goes wrong in here.
It is now ready. Z-RAM will load it up and then carry out firing tests on the chronograph. This fancy piece is now finished and charged. There is almost 3,000 PSI here, with the 1,100 PSI regulator. The Z.68s projectiles weigh between 9 and 9.5 g, and the barrel is 16 inches long.
Chronograph readings and the result
That was an error. 389 FPS. 416 FPS. 398 FPS. 439 FPS, 85 J. 423 FPS. So, that's it. Z-RAM thinks the setup looks pretty cool too. All that is missing here is a scope, a red dot or something similar, and then it is a really cool setup.
Those were really good results. The maximum was 439 FPS, about 85 J. Z-RAM used a .690 barrel here. With a .686 barrel and 1,300 PSI output pressure, the results would have been far better. Bear in mind that these projectiles are very pointed and weigh up to 9.5 g. You can imagine the damage this causes to targets, boards, coconuts and so on. That is why you should be pretty careful about what you are doing.
Regulator options and the original pressure comments
Most of the parts can be found in Z-RAM's shop, such as the buttstock here, the bottle and the regulator, the 1,100 PSI regulator. There is also an adjustable regulator that can be set up to 2,000 PSI. A little more PSI can also be used with the steel chamber, the steel bolt, the stainless steel screw and the pin.
Z-RAM used it at 1,300 PSI for a long time, and that worked too, but now it is fitted with this 1,100 PSI regulator. Of course, even better results could be achieved with the 1,300 PSI regulator or the adjustable one. However, how much you want to demand of your marker is, of course, up to you. Z-RAM personally would not use more than 1,500 PSI, and only if it is rarely used. Then there would be a significantly larger increase. As mentioned, the adjustable regulator is also in Z-RAM's shop.
Shop parts, projectile choices and complete packages
The ASA-to-chamber adapter is in Z-RAM's shop, as are the adapter plates for screwing it onto the chamber and the whole stainless steel valve assembly. Also very important is the Z-Mag, which allows Z.68s projectiles to be fired. Z68 V2 or other projectiles can be used with the normal magazine.
Z-RAM has Z68 V2 projectiles in 8.5 and 10 g. These will also give great results, but this one is even sharper. The shop also has the barrel cover and handles of different types. Barrels will be available soon too, so be sure to check it out. Depending on when you watch the video, complete packages are also available for buying this entire set, of course without markers and, depending on the package, also without barrels.
Questions, the final pressure-release note and signoff
That finishes today's video. Z-RAM has shown how to install the ASA-to-chamber adapter and load Z.68s projectiles. If you have any questions, write them in the comments or, better yet, contact Z-RAM at the website mentioned here. The saved captions render that address as 'www.zemtv.com'; the intended spelling is unclear.
If you do not have this on/off adapter, this screw down here can be slowly unscrewed to release the pressure. This lets the air out. When it is completely out, close it again, and then the bottle can be unscrewed.
Z-RAM wishes you a nice day. Please subscribe to the channel and give it a thumbs up. Z-RAM hopes you have fun with the products. See you soon from Z-RAM.
