Z-RAM projectiles and thanks for 20,000 subscribers

Welcome to the Z-RAM YouTube channel. Today Z-RAM wants to go into detail about its projectiles, show their special features and different calibers, and show a few other new items in the shop. That will come in a moment.

Z-RAM would like to thank everyone for the great feedback. There are now over 20,000 YouTube subscribers, and the feedback below the videos is mainly positive. Z-RAM is very happy about that and really proud of what has been achieved here in recent years. Thank you very much. It all started with the Z.68. This is now the Z.68v2; there was another version before, but that will come in a moment.

Many other items are also available in the Z-RAM shop, including many parts for Umarex T4E models such as the HDR50, HDR68, HDP, HDS, HDX, HDB and PPQ, or even the Tiberius FSC and PepperBall TCP. Almost everything can be found in the shop. Go to www.z-ram.net to reach the Z-RAM shop.

Shop categories and products by marker

Now the homepage is open. Here are the first three main categories: Ammunition Factory, tuning parts and Z-RAM parts. The last category contains exclusively items sold under Z-RAM's own brand: its projectiles, the Z-Extension, steel chambers and much more.

The other categories are here. As mentioned, this one contains only ammunition and ammunition accessories, such as the Z-Drum or threadlocker. This category contains tuning valves, chambers, barrels and so on. Scrolling down also shows the whole range sorted by marker. Choose a marker here to see all the items Z-RAM offers for the HDR50, also called the TR50. There are many different parts.

For example, here is a complete set. No marker is included, but it contains all the parts needed to reach 40 J. Here is a complete set to reach 34 J, also, as mentioned, without a marker. There are many more interesting items. Here is the ZDR50 V2 valve, which Z-RAM will return to later. The next offer is described in the captions as “7 seven jowls”; its energy figure is unclear. There are also offers like these for the HDR68 and, in part, for the FSC or TCP.

Shopping cart, discounts and wish list

Open a product offer to see all the secure payment methods available with Z-RAM. Select the quantity here and add the items to the shopping cart, or take advantage of one of these offers: a 5% discount for two sets, or a 10% discount for three of these projectile sets. Select the offer here and add it to the cart.

An item can also be added to the wish list here. The saved items are then available up here to review later. For anyone who does not want to order several of the same item, there is another discount system: a 10% discount when the cart reaches 250, regardless of which items it contains.

After an item is added to the cart, a prompt asks whether another item should be added for a 5% discount. If desired, a second item can be added here, followed by a direct redirect to the shopping cart. It also shows here that another €178 still needs to be spent for a 10% discount.

Dealer access, product videos and shop feedback

Here is the catalog again, with all the categories. Questions can be emailed to Z-RAM through the contact page. Dealers interested in working with Z-RAM can use the contact form or the email address shown here. Z-RAM will be happy to send access to the dealer shop, where the goods are available net at the dealer price.

A few more videos are available here, also found on the YouTube channel. Product offers often contain direct video links too. For example, this is an installation video for this part, and many offers have something like it. It is not available for every item, but it is for many. Reading the product description more closely is worthwhile.

Z-RAM recommends subscribing to the newsletter below. Become a club member and benefit from discount codes, promotions and new items. However, the highest discount always applies; discounts are not combined. That is it for the shop. Z-RAM would be happy to receive feedback: what is liked, what is disliked, whether the shop is clear enough and whether it is easy to find the way around. Z-RAM might then be able to make a few adjustments and would definitely appreciate that feedback.

Z.68v2: two weights and marker compatibility

Now to the main video, starting with the Z.68v2 projectile in .68 caliber. This one weighs 8.5 g; a second version weighs 10 g. They are otherwise identical. Both are CNC-turned from high-quality stainless steel, and all are of top quality. There is a cup at the back. The escaping air collects in this cup and ideally propels the projectile forward.

These projectiles fit almost all markers—all markers that are FSR, or First Strike Ready. That means the marker can accept elongated projectiles. This includes the Tiberius FSC and PepperBall TCP, while the HDR68 and HDS68 can also take them without any problems. They work with many other markers too, such as the M17 or VKS and many other models, although Z-RAM does not specialize in those. A little more information is available directly on the product page; take a closer look around.

There is nothing to worry about with this projectile; it can be used normally. The only recommendation is to use a MagMod like this with the FSC. A MagMod improves the projectiles' entry into the barrel. That covers the Z.68v2 projectiles. Now comes the Z.68S projectile.

Z.68S, the Z-Drum and the Z-Mag

As you can see, this one is a bit longer and sharper. It weighs 9.5 g and is also CNC-turned from stainless steel. There is a special feature: because these projectiles are longer, they cannot be used in every marker. This projectile can be used normally in the HDS68, but it will not fit the HDR68's standard magazine because it is a bit longer.

That is why Z-RAM developed the Z-Drum. It has slightly deeper chambers that extend a little further down here, allowing the projectile to fit completely. In the original drum, it would protrude a little and the drum could no longer turn. That is why this drum is needed to use the Z.68S projectiles. Z-RAM repeats this because the question comes up often: the Z.68v2 does not need this drum; it is only the Z.68S projectiles that absolutely need it.

Many people order these anyway because the drum is made of TPU and is good for other projectiles too. They sit more securely in the drum. The whole drum is also a bit thicker than the original, so it seals better here. As a result, less air or CO2 is wasted, allowing it to be used optimally for the shot. That makes this a decent choice. In particular, when using Z.68S projectiles with the HDR68, this magazine is mandatory.

These projectiles can also be used in the FSC or TCP, but there too the normal standard magazine cannot be used; Z-RAM's Z-Mag is needed. Its advantage is a little more space here, where the projectiles fit. Another video has more details, and Z-RAM will link it above. Be sure to watch it; it explains exactly what this magazine is all about.

Z.50 and Z.50 V2

Next is .50 caliber. This is the Z.50 projectile, the first .50 version. It weighs 4.5 g and is also CNC-turned from stainless steel. It can only be used in the HDR50, also called the TR50, although other markers can also be loaded through the muzzle. Incidentally, the same applies to the Z.68: it can be slid into the front of an HDX like an arrow and fired individually. Of course, this can also be done with the HDP or other markers. In a drum, however, the Z.50 works only in the HDR50 or other .50-caliber markers with an FSR-ready drum. The projectiles are loaded from the back and sit perfectly in the drum.

Here is the second version, the Z.50 V2 projectile, weighing 6 to 6.2 g. As you can see, it has slightly thicker walls, while retaining a chamber to catch the air here. This also ensures that the projectile is heavier at the front than at the rear.

Then there are all these grooves, which make the projectile rotate in flight and stabilize it. They keep it straight in flight, so that, first, it arrives straight and, second, it is also accelerated a little. The rotation and straighter trajectory cause less disturbance, allowing the projectile to fly more optimally. This projectile also works only in the HDR50.

Projectile preferences and other shop items

The shop also has many other projectiles: balls and these 9 mm projectiles, whose preceding name is unclear in the captions as “sew.” They are all great. Z-RAM is nevertheless convinced that, for target shooting or especially home defense, it should definitely be a pointed projectile like this. In Z-RAM's view, a pointed projectile gets the best out of the situation with the marker. That would be Z-RAM's very first change when considering tuning a marker or launcher; it simply makes more sense to Z-RAM.

The damage to the target is greater, the projectile does not break, and it can be used again and again. Z-RAM would rather be hit by a round ball like this at 30 J than by a pointed projectile like this at 15 J. Of course, the choice is yours. There are many other interesting projectiles; this is just a small selection.

Be sure to browse the Z-RAM shop. There are more than projectiles: silencers, tuning valves, tuning chamber extensions, adapters for HP hoses, bottles and so on. Here is the magazine for the FSC, which accepts 20 g or 16 g capsules. Here is the ZDR50 V2 valve for the HDR50.

Z-Extension and the ZDR50 V2 valve

As you can see, the Z-Extension is already on it. This is the Z-Extension, also one of Z-RAM's best sellers. Z-RAM was the first to make this part for the HDR50 and the first to start drilling the rear of the HDR50 case so the chamber extension would fit. This is one of the best ways to increase the marker's performance. It works with almost all Umarex T4E models. The Z-Extension would even fit here to extend the whole thing further.

The standard valve looks like this and is a bit shorter. Z-RAM has already developed the valve with the Z-Extension included. The ZDR50 V2 valve also has other advantages: even a 25 g CO2 capsule can be put inside here. There is a dedicated video about this valve too. Be sure to watch it; the link is above. It is a very interesting part.

It offers the opportunity to get a lot of performance from the HDR50 with a short setup. The 25 g capsule can be placed inside the handle. That means there is no need to screw a large bottle onto the back or a long part down here at the end of the tube. The result is simply a short setup with a lot of power.

More accessories and farewell

There is a lot here: a tuning barrel with a barrel extension or sniper extension, aluminum balls also available in .43 caliber, and steel balls too. As mentioned, there are tuning valves and ammunition for almost all T4E models. There are also shotshells like these, which allow smaller calibers to be fired with the HDS68, and much more. Be sure to look around and give Z-RAM feedback on the shop.

That is it for today. Please give the video a thumbs-up and subscribe to the channel; Z-RAM would be very happy. Until next time, greetings from Z-RAM.
