The Z-RAM steel barrel listed for the Umarex HDP50/TP50 Compact is confirmed by Z-RAM for Compact Gen1 and Gen2. That answer applies to the Compact product. It does not turn the separately listed standard HDP50/TP50 barrel into the same item.
Keep “Compact” in the model name
HDP50 and TP50 are regional names for the same pistol family. “Compact” identifies the version being discussed; Gen1 and Gen2 identify generations within that scope. Dropping “Compact” from a search can therefore take you to a different barrel offer even when HDP50, TP50 and .50 all appear in its title.
Z-RAM's Compact generation confirmation does not mean that every HDP50/TP50 component is shared between Compact and standard pistols. Keep that distinction when looking at a rail, cover or other separately named component.
Which of the two steel-barrel offers are you looking at?
The Compact listing names HDP50/TP50 Compact in its compatibility information. It describes a burnished-steel barrel with an anti-rotation notch and a thread-protection cap. The notch is an alignment feature; the cap covers the thread. Neither feature name is a substitute for checking the model.
The separate standard HDP50/TP50 steel-barrel listing explicitly names HDP50/TP50 and HDP50 Gen2. Its stated delivery is one steel barrel and one thread cover. It is shown below as a comparison so that a familiar model abbreviation does not lead to the wrong listing—not as an interchangeable Compact alternative.
Generation fit is separate from package contents
The Compact page lists one steel barrel and one thread cover, followed by “+2 attachments (depending on selection).” Its current offer does not expose a separate Gen1-versus-Gen2 choice. Do not interpret the generation answer as a promise of two generation-specific packages, or use that attachment wording to guess the identity of an unlisted extra.
For a Compact Gen1 or Gen2, start with the offer that retains Compact in its name. If the exact additional attachments matter to your purchase, confirm those contents on the selected offer. The model and generation remain the starting point; package wording answers a separate question.
