The AEA Megalodon holder is designed to carry the fill adapter on the airgun, together with two items the listing calls “boundary cards.” It is a model-specific, flexible TPU mount rather than a filling connector or air-system upgrade. One holder is supplied; the fill adapter and the two cards are not included.
Storage rather than a new gas connection
The practical purpose is keeping the adapter with the Megalodon instead of treating it as a loose item elsewhere in the kit. The holder does not replace the adapter’s own connection function. An accessory photograph showing an adapter in place illustrates carrying capacity, not an additional part in the box.
The product description specifies 3D-printed TPU with a black matte finish and describes a flexible, compact fit that can be removed. Flexibility is relevant to an external holder’s fit and handling; it is not evidence that the same item stretches into confirmed compatibility with other AEA models.
What does “two boundary cards” mean?
That phrase appears in both the capacity statement and the exclusions, but the current description does not identify the cards or give their dimensions. It should not be translated into a particular valve part, seal, tool or restrictor by guesswork. If those two storage positions are the reason for buying the holder, ask Z-RAM to identify the intended items before purchase.
The uncertainty is narrow. It does not change the clear information that the product is a holder for the Megalodon and that the fill adapter is excluded. Someone who already owns the adapter should not be encouraged to buy another just to use a storage accessory.
A gauge cover protects a different area
The separately listed Megalodon pressure-gauge cap is also flexible, 3D-printed TPU. Its purpose is covering the pressure indicator against knocks and scratches; it does not store the fill adapter. Z-RAM supplies one cap without a pressure gauge or airgun.
The two products can therefore complement different everyday needs—keeping an accessory together with the airgun and covering the gauge—but neither is mandatory merely because the other is purchased. A protective cover also does not alter pressure ratings or substitute for a service inspection if damage is suspected.
Keep the exact Megalodon platform in view
AEA Megalodon is a PCP big-bore airgun family, not an Umarex T4E or paintball platform. The holder’s product-specific compatibility statement is what supports its fit. Similar materials or the fact that another model uses compressed air do not establish interchangeability.
For the final purchase, distinguish the two functions and confirm any unclear card identity. Choose the holder for storage, or the separate cap for the gauge-covering task; retain the actual supplied quantities and avoid assuming that displayed accessories arrive with either one.
