A round-ball listing that names HDS68 or HDX68 in its title is not automatically limited to those markers. For the Pistelle X-68, look at the exact product's compatibility information rather than assuming that a missing name means exclusion—or that .68 alone proves fit. Two current Z-RAM offers illustrate the difference.
One offer names Pistelle directly
The current Z-RAM .68 nylon-ball description explicitly lists Pistelle X-68. It specifies black, extra-hard nylon balls weighing 2.8 g each, supplied in a pack of 100. This is direct product information, not a conclusion drawn from another marker's caliber.
That exact current title and description also matter more than a legacy link address. A copied older address can retain words from a different product; it is not a second set of specifications. Read the current product identity, material, caliber and package count together.
Another has product-specific confirmation beyond its short title
The .68 aluminum-ball offer prominently names other Umarex models and describes a pack of 20 aluminum round balls at 7.2 g each. In response to the Pistelle question, Z-RAM specifically identified this aluminum-ball product among the round-ball choices. That exact-product connection is more useful than interpreting the list of model names in a short title as exhaustive.
The confirmation concerns round balls and the identified offer. It is not a statement that every shaped projectile, every .68 product or every altered configuration is interchangeable. Keep the product identity attached to the answer instead of shortening it to “all ammunition fits.”
Compatibility does not make the materials equivalent
The nylon and aluminum offers differ in material, listed unit mass and pack size. Those are concrete purchasing distinctions; they are not a ranking of impact or suitability for a particular target. The aluminum listing warns that its projectiles are not paintball-safe and can increase wear on barrels and chambers over time.
The nylon listing also gives explicit safety instructions: use appropriate eye protection, never shoot at people or animals, and avoid hard surfaces because of ricochet risk. A Pistelle compatibility statement does not override those use restrictions.
Start with the product whose description or exact Z-RAM confirmation names your need, then read its material and use warnings. The two cards below make those source-supported differences visible without relying on title abbreviations or treating all .68 ammunition as one category.
