Z-RAM presents the Pistelle X-68 ASA chamber as an enlarged internal gas chamber: its stated purpose is to make more gas volume available, with increased output as the intended benefit. It is a CNC-machined, black-anodized aluminum component for the NxWerks Pistelle X-68, not a complete launcher. The 100–150+ J and up-to-200 J figures in the chamber video are explicitly tied to the surrounding setup, not guaranteed results from the chamber by itself.
What the chamber changes
The chamber presentation centers on increased internal air volume. That is a different role from a barrel cover, which surrounds the exterior, or a magazine holder, which carries a spare magazine. Understanding the part’s job helps you separate a pressure-system component from accessories that only look substantial in a photograph.
The product descriptions call the chamber enlarged and CNC-machined to the platform’s specifications. Both Short Cap offers below name black-anodized aluminum. Those are construction and material statements; they do not provide a measured chamber volume or establish a fixed energy gain for every marker.
Why the video uses more than one number
The dedicated chamber short introduces 100–150+ J as dependent on the setup, then refers to up to 200 J in an optimized build. The broader Pistelle parts short uses the same kind of conditional language: its upper figure belongs to a suitable overall setup involving the wider parts range.
These are descriptions of possible configured results, not three output settings on the chamber. Neither short presents a shot-by-shot test log or identifies all the conditions behind the highest number. The videos therefore do not establish that installing either offer below will reproduce 200 J in an otherwise unchanged Pistelle.
Read the two offers as components, not guaranteed results
The first Short Cap listing advertises 100 J+; the listing titled Extra Long + Short Cap advertises 150 J+. Their descriptions qualify the performance by configuration. The different headline figures do not establish a measured 50 J improvement between the two products, and the word “Extra Long” is not a complete internal-volume specification.
The chamber film mentions both CO₂ and HPA in describing its intended use. That does not turn the chamber into a supplied gas source or a complete conversion package: the product descriptions explicitly exclude the marker and CO₂. A source that names more than one gas system is also not permission to combine them.
What would make a result relevant to your equipment?
A useful performance report identifies the exact marker, chamber offer, other components, gas source, projectile and test conditions. Keep those details attached to a quoted result. If the configuration is not identified, treat the number as an advertised possibility rather than a prediction for the equipment you own.
A shot-by-shot chronograph record would answer a different question: what a particular assembled marker actually produced during that test. Here, the useful distinction is the chamber’s documented function versus the conditions behind its promotional figures.
