The same Z-RAM Z-MAG fits First Strike FSC, PepperBall TCP, Tiberius T8.1 and Tiberius T9.1. It sits flush on FSC/TCP; on T8.1/T9.1, a visible gap between the grip and magazine base is cosmetic and has no technical effect. That difference in appearance does not mean you need a different Z-MAG version.
Functional fit and exterior finish are different questions
A magazine can be supported by a platform without following its grip outline in exactly the same way. That is the distinction here: the T8.1/T9.1 gap describes the exterior finish, not a reduced list of supported capsule sizes or a separate magazine model.
| Platform | Z-MAG fit | Appearance at the grip |
|---|---|---|
| First Strike FSC / PepperBall TCP | Supported | Flush-fitting |
| Tiberius T8.1 / T9.1 | Supported | Cosmetic gap at the magazine base |
Capsule size is a separate choice
The same Z-MAG supports 8-g, 12-g, 16-g and 20-g CO₂ capsules on all four listed platforms. These are not separately selectable capsule-size versions of the magazine. In particular, the T8.1/T9.1 cosmetic gap does not restrict the supported range to 8-g and 12-g capsules.
The magazine offer includes its two-piece frame, Slip Cover and the spacers listed for the smaller capsule sizes. Those pieces belong to the same product; they are not evidence of separate FSC, TCP or Tiberius magazine variants. Capsule capacity alone is not a promised shot count or a performance result.
When the original FSC magazine is the relevant alternative
For an FSC owner comparing magazine offers, the original First Strike FSC magazine is a distinct option: the current listing describes a six-round .68 magazine for the FSC pistol. It expressly excludes T8.1 and T9.1.
That makes the comparison platform-specific. An FSC owner can compare the original magazine with the Z-MAG; a T8.1/T9.1 owner should not choose the original FSC magazine simply to avoid the Z-MAG's cosmetic gap. The appearance of one supported magazine does not establish compatibility for another.
If you are buying a Z-MAG for the first time, the Z-MAG purchase guide explains the difference between the conversion kit and a complete magazine, including the original-magazine parts you need.
