Umarex HDR68/TR68 Part 3: ASA-to-chamber conversion and shooting tests
Welcome to the Z-RAM YouTube channel. Z-RAM is here and today wants to tune the Umarex HDR68/TR68 completely with you—everything that is possible.
This is the third part of the video series on tuning the HDR68/TR68. You should definitely watch the first and second parts so that you understand what Z-RAM did before. It will link the other videos above. In this part, it will convert from the Z-Extension to the ASA-to-chamber adapter and then do some shooting tests.
Here is the HDR68/TR68 as it was tuned in the last two videos. Here is the ASA-to-chamber adapter. First, the Z-Extension needs to be removed. Then the ASA-to-chamber adapter is screwed on. Before that, though, threadlocker should be put on the thread.
Screw the bottle on here.

Umarex HDR68/TR68 bottle, regulator and on/off adapter
The bottle has the 1,100 PSI regulator. You can also find the buttstock in the Z-RAM shop. Regulators are around 850 PSI. This one, which Z-RAM offers with the bottle, is 1,100 PSI. Z-RAM also offers a regulator that can be adjusted up to 2,000 PSI.
1,100 to 1,300 PSI is ideal.
Z-RAM also has an on/off adapter in the shop. It is recommended. If you do not have that, just shoot the bottle completely empty before unscrewing it, or slowly open this valve here and let the air out to relieve the pressure. Then the bottle can be unscrewed more easily.
Z-RAM will fill the bottle now and then meet you at the chronograph. Here is the tuned HDR68/TR68. Z-RAM loads the Z.68s projectiles with the Z-Drum.
Umarex HDR68/TR68 shooting test on a wooden plank
Those are really nice numbers, but let’s make this a little more interesting. Z-RAM has prepared a solid wooden plank in front. Let’s see what happens.
Unfortunately, the chronograph does not work, but Z-RAM will reload a couple of Z.68s projectiles.
Apparently, the chronograph is still having problems. It is still possible to take a look at the destruction.
That looks pretty destroyed. Can you see how the projectiles entered? Sometimes they shot through. As you can see, this has not been a problem either, and this is real wood, two centimeters thick. It looks cool, too.
Umarex HDR68/TR68 results: 326 FPS, 47 J and 91 J
The two Z-Extensions produced really good results. 326 FPS was the maximum. That is 47 joules, and with the ASA-to-chamber adapter, the test even reached 91 joules. That is remarkable.
You must note that the Z.68s projectiles weigh 9.5 grams and are extremely sharp.
As you could see in the last videos, both setups achieved very good results. This setup with the Z.68s projectiles is definitely one of Z-RAM’s favorites.
The setup with HPA is really destructive, as you can see: 91 joules.
Umarex HDR68/TR68 parts and bundle offers
As Z-RAM said, you can find all the parts needed for this setup in the Z-RAM shop.
You will also find an offer in the shop where you can buy all these parts together without having to search around for a long time, except for the marker. There is also an offer where you can buy the whole thing with the bottle, with all the parts together.
That is it for today. Z-RAM thinks the results achieved here are really great. Let Z-RAM know what you think in the comments, and leave a thumbs up. From Z-RAM.
