Z-RAM’s ASA Tuning Chamber Extra Long for First Strike FSC/FSC XP is advertised with “up to 200 J+” on HPA and “100 J+” on CO₂. These are setup-dependent performance reference claims, not the number of joules the chamber adds by itself. The product’s central feature is an enlarged chamber volume, housed in CNC-machined AL7075 aluminum.
What the extra volume changes
The chamber provides space for the gas available to the firing system. Z-RAM describes more available air volume per shot as the reason for this Extra Long design. Chamber volume is not the same thing as supply pressure, and fitting a larger component does not establish the output of an entire marker.
The listing explicitly makes its figures dependent on the setup, air supply, valve system and ammunition. That is why the HPA and CO₂ references belong to their respective configurations rather than forming two values to add together. They also describe total reference performance, not a measured gain over every original FSC or FSC XP.
AL7075 body and serviceable seals
The chamber is CNC-machined from AL7075 aluminum and finished in black anodizing. Pre-installed PU O-rings and additional replacement PU O-rings are included. The black anodized finish and supplied replacement seals complement the larger-volume design.
The package contains the chamber and those seals. It is not a complete marker or a complete HPA supply package. The separate steel ASA chamber kit below is another product format with its own contents and model list—not an additional purchase automatically required by the Extra Long chamber.
Why FSC XP must be checked part by part
The Extra Long product explicitly names FSC and FSC XP, and Z-RAM’s product-specific confirmation also covers PepperBall TCP. That does not approve every older FSC bolt, chamber kit or individual internal part for FSC XP. In particular, the older complete stainless-steel firing-bolt assembly remains unconfirmed for FSC XP; unconfirmed is not the same as incompatible.
This distinction is useful when evaluating what you already own. Keep the chamber’s explicit approval attached to this chamber, and assess an older assembly separately rather than extending the approval through the whole marker.
