What this cover is designed to do
The Pistelle X-68 barrel cover is designed only for the longer Z-RAM tuning barrel. The stock barrel has the normal original length and does not need this cover. When the longer tuning barrel is installed, part of it extends beyond the original front profile; the cover surrounds and protects that exposed section.

Before installation
- Confirm that the base marker is the Pistelle X-68.
- Confirm that the longer matching Z-RAM tuning barrel is already fitted or is the barrel being installed.
- Unload and degas the marker according to its instructions.
- Inspect the cover and the exposed barrel section for damage or debris.
- Check that no other accessory is occupying the same required mounting area.
Fit the cover without forcing it
Align the cover with the longer tuning barrel and the front profile of the Pistelle X-68. The part should sit in the orientation shown by the product images and installation guidance. If it binds, sits at an angle, or requires force, stop and confirm the barrel and cover identity before continuing.
After fitting, check that the cover does not obstruct the bore, interfere with moving parts, or loosen during normal handling. The cover does not replace the barrel, change the caliber, or create a performance claim. Its job is to cover and protect the portion of the longer tuning barrel that would otherwise remain exposed.

A muzzle brake or a sniper extension must be matched to its exact thread and barrel system. These are separate choices from the barrel cover. Do not present two accessories that require the same connection as simultaneously mountable unless the exact arrangement has been confirmed.
