Beeman BP50, First Strike FSC and NxWerks Pistelle: ASA Chamber Choices

Z-RAM’s Beeman BP50 chamber carries an 80-Joule-plus HPA headline; the First Strike FSC/FSC XP Extra Long offer states 100+ Joules with CO₂ and up to 200+ Joules with HPA; the Pistelle X-68/IB68 offer compared here states up to 100+ Joules depending on the configuration. These are seller claims attached to different marker systems. For a purchase, the decisive comparison is the exact model, the chamber’s gas-system role and what the offer actually supplies.

All three are enlarged replacement chambers made from CNC-machined, black-anodized aluminum. That shared description explains their product family. It does not make them interchangeable, or make their largest advertised number a useful recommendation for a marker you already own.

Start with the marker named on the offer

The Beeman BP50 is a separate .50 platform. The FSC and Pistelle/IB68 families are .68 platforms, but their shared caliber still does not establish chamber fit. The named product scope is more specific and useful than either caliber or the ASA label.

The Pistelle and IntruBuster relationship is also part-specific. Z-RAM’s owner-confirmed knowledge supports shared tuning chambers for Pistelle X-68 and IntruBuster Gen2; their barrels and magazines differ. The current chamber listing explicitly names IB68 Gen1 and Gen2. That chamber approval should remain a chamber fact.

Volume is their common function; supply remains model-specific

An enlarged chamber changes the internal gas space available to the valve system. The amount of useful gas release also depends on the supply and valve behavior. A larger space does not itself create a higher supply pressure, and an ASA connection does not turn every marker into the same gas system.

The BP50 description expressly requires a suitable HPA on/off adapter and excludes it from delivery. The FSC Extra Long description names both CO₂ and HPA, with optional supply components separate from its chamber-and-seals package. The Pistelle listing refers to an on/off adapter in its performance statement, while its own chamber video supplies broader CO₂/HPA product context.

These are component purchases, so the surrounding supply equipment needs its own exact specification. Z-RAM’s videos below introduce the Pistelle chamber and the separate ASA connection on an older FSC/TCP steel chamber.

Alloy detail and included seals change the comparison

The BP50 and FSC Extra Long descriptions specifically name AL7075 aluminum. The Pistelle/IB68 offer specifies black-anodized aluminum without an alloy grade.

The BP50 cap is expressly listed, and both the BP50 and FSC offers include pre-installed and replacement PU seals. Those details make the delivered component easier to identify and provide spare sealing parts. The Pistelle/IB68 title and option text name a Short Cap, but the delivery line says chamber only. Confirming that one item before ordering is more useful than assuming the cap shown or named must be supplied.

Keep each performance statement with its source

The BP50’s 80-Joule-plus figure is in its title; the detailed description supplies the component specification without a matching test account. The FSC offer explicitly makes performance dependent on the setup, air supply, valve system, ammunition and other factors. The Pistelle 100+ figure is also configuration-dependent. None of these provides a common test from which to calculate which chamber produces the greatest improvement.

The useful shortlist is therefore model-specific: identify the exact chamber application, compare its material and gas context, then establish the supplied caps and seals. The energy headline remains attached to that offer’s stated conditions.
