Z-RAM sells separate regulators labeled 800 PSI and 1100 PSI output. Their 200 bar / 3000 PSI bottle specification describes the high-pressure bottle side, not the pressure automatically delivered to a marker. The difference is a product rating, not a recommendation to increase an existing system’s pressure or a guaranteed Joule gain.
Why both pressure numbers appear
An HPA regulator stands between stored compressed air and the downstream supply. The bottle rating and regulator output therefore describe different parts of the system. Reading “3000 PSI” as marker inlet pressure would confuse those roles. The HPA bottle-label guide explains the same distinction on bottle-and-regulator packages.
The lower or higher output label cannot establish suitability on its own. Compatibility depends on the bottle, regulator connection and complete downstream components remaining within their documented ratings. The model names in a broad listing do not replace an exact system confirmation. Where that confirmation is missing, ask the supplier rather than selecting an output by the largest number.
The fittings have specific functions
Both product descriptions list a compact 20 mm gauge, a filling nipple with an integrated micro filter, burst discs, a nipple cover and a thread-protection cap. The 1100 PSI description also specifies double ASA O-rings. These details identify the supplied assembly and its protective features; they are not a complete marker conversion package.
The gauge provides an indication rather than permission to exceed the system’s rating. Protective caps help keep exposed fittings covered between appropriate uses, while burst discs are safety components, not everyday drain controls. See the burst-disc explanation for that separate distinction. Neither the guard nor filter should be treated as a guarantee that an unsuitable pressure source becomes safe.
Stable supply and muzzle energy are not the same result
Regulated compressed air can support consistency when the regulator supplies steady pressure. It does not rely on the liquid/vapor behavior of a CO₂ capsule. But the marker’s valve, chamber, seals, projectile and operating condition still affect what reaches the muzzle. A change from an 800 PSI label to an 1100 PSI label is not an energy-conversion formula.
Z-RAM describes these products as PI-tested. That is a supplier statement about the regulator; it is not independent certification here of the customer’s entire bottle, hose and marker combination. Use the applicable component documentation and qualified support for a system decision.
Regulator only, or a bottle package?
Each product below supplies one regulator with its listed gauge and fittings. A bottle, remote line or marker-side adapter is not included in those delivery sections. Buy the regulator only when that is the missing confirmed component; an existing complete bottle/regulator package is not a reason to buy a duplicate assembly.
