The presenter states an increase of 81 FPS. The 25-Joule figure is the resulting total—not an additional 25 Joules.
Read the baseline before the headline
The source describes the first marker condition as standard and untuned. In this particular test, that means the reported approximately 15-Joule baseline. It does not mean every factory HDR50/TR50 starts at 15 Joules; the current product range and other articles distinguish different factory-energy versions.
Compared with that stated baseline, the two rounded energy figures differ by about 10 Joules. That is a description of this before-and-after comparison. It is not a fixed value to add to a different starting marker.
The wording also matters statistically: 280 FPS is identified as a maximum. The short results discussion does not establish a complete shot-series average for both conditions. Its headline comparison should therefore remain a report of the presenter's figures, rather than a newly reconstructed average.
Two components changed, so the benefit is shared
The presenter attributes the later result to the tuning barrel and Z-Extension together. The clip does not divide the increase into a barrel-only share and an extension-only share. It therefore demonstrates the combined arrangement's reported benefit without establishing either component's individual contribution.
Their functions are different. The Z-Extension is described as enlarging the available chamber volume, while the barrel influences the projectile's travel and its interaction with the released gas. Gas supply, valve behavior, sealing and projectile fit remain part of that system. This explains why the observed result belongs to the combination tested.
Keep the catalog's other claims separate
The current steel-barrel page also mentions output above 20 Joules in connection with a PowerKit.50. That is a different product statement. It must not be substituted for the barrel-and-Z-Extension result reported here, or used to imply that the PowerKit produced this particular 25-Joule figure.
Likewise, the Z-Extension's advertised minimum gain is not a second number to add to the video's total. The video has already reported the outcome of its changed arrangement. Adding a catalog component claim again would count a proposed benefit twice.
The related Power Kit overview below is useful for recognizing those separate component names. It is not a second measurement of the same comparison. Together, the videos make the practical reading clear: the historical result is about 15 to 25 Joules for the stated HDR50 conditions, with a reported 81-FPS velocity difference. It is not a universal output for all HDR50/TR50 versions or a measurement for the other models appearing in broad video titles.
