If you are looking for the magazine itself for a First Strike FSC—not CO₂ capsules—the relevant Z-RAM listing is the Z-MAG. It is sold as a magazine frame kit, not as a complete original First Strike magazine. The same Z-MAG supports non-threaded 8 g, 12 g, 16 g and 20 g CO₂ capsules. You do not choose a separate capsule-size product variant.
What you are ordering
The word “magazine” needs a little unpacking here. The Z-MAG package contains a two-piece magazine frame and its listed accessories; it is not a complete factory replacement magazine. The package relies on parts from an original magazine, so buying this frame kit and buying an original replacement are different decisions.
The current set includes the two-piece frame, an FSC/TCP Belt Cover called the SlipCover, three spacers for 8 g, 12 g and 16 g capsules, a small additional screw, and one MagMode in black or red. CO₂ capsules are not included. The included SlipCover and MagMode should therefore not be mistaken for separate items that every new Z-MAG buyer must add to the same order.
The Z-RAM Z-MAG listing identifies this exact package. Its current description asks you to leave your MagMode color preference at checkout; that color choice is separate from capsule compatibility.
One Z-MAG, four capsule sizes
In this product name, “20 g” describes a supported CO₂ capsule format. It does not describe the magazine’s own weight or a separate Z-MAG variant.
Z-RAM’s current compatibility confirmation covers all four listed sizes in the same magazine: 8 g, 12 g, 16 g and 20 g. The three supplied spacers are listed for the three smaller formats. Counting those spacers is therefore not a way to count the supported capsule sizes: three spacers and four supported sizes are consistent parts of the same product description.
The non-threaded capsule specification matters. A similar gas-weight label alone is not the complete product match.
Why the same magazine can look different on another platform
The confirmed Z-MAG platform list is First Strike FSC, PepperBall TCP, Tiberius T8.1 and Tiberius T9.1. All four named platforms support the four listed capsule sizes with this same Z-MAG.
On FSC and TCP, the fit is flush. On T8.1 and T9.1, a visible gap remains between the grip and the magazine base. Z-RAM confirms that this particular gap is cosmetic and has no technical effect; it does not limit those two platforms to 8 g and 12 g capsules.
That confirmation belongs to this exact Z-MAG. It does not make every magazine or internal part interchangeable across the four markers. This distinction matters when another listing also contains “FSC” or “Tiberius” in its name.
Z-MAG or the original FSC magazine?
If by “the magazine itself” you mean an original replacement for the FSC, the First Strike FSC Pistol Magazine – black is a different offer. It is the original six-round FSC magazine, supplied as one magazine rather than the Z-MAG frame kit. The standard FSC magazine uses an 8 g CO₂ capsule.
The original-magazine listing specifically covers FSC and excludes T8.1 and T9.1. Do not carry the Z-MAG’s broader confirmed platform list or its four capsule formats over to that separate First Strike product.
For the 20 g magazine inquiry, Z-MAG is the product identified by Z-RAM support. For an original FSC replacement, the First Strike listing describes the other purchase type. These are alternatives to understand, not a requirement to buy both. Match the product identity and supplied scope to what you actually need; a shared “magazine” label is not enough.
